Happy New Year and all that Junk

Anyhooos, my birthday, during the day at least, was pretty uneventful. Manda was at the Eagles game for most of the day so I spent the day laying in bed with Morning Sea, watching Albatross and Rose of Versailles. It was good times. When Manda came back, she came bearing Coronas. Oh yes, how I love Corona with lime in it. Before the beer happened we also went and got donuts and I got a small cake, since I love cake and what would a birthday be without it. We watched Rome at Dawn and drank our beer and abused the Dear Diary thread on DOD. At midnight I had to watch the ball drop so we put that on, and after midnight decided to go outside to watch the fireworks people were setting off. I go to open the door... and there is a cat at our door! Which is totally weird since we live in a third floor apartment and the cat was in the hallway O_O So Manda and I were totally wtf and thought perhaps Mary, our second floor neighbor, had accidentally let her cat out when she left earlier. So we played with the kitty for awhile, gave it tuna and had fun with it. After awhile Manda noticed something under Mary's door... it was paws. So her cat was still in the apartment and we were all O_O wtf again. Then we got the idea that maybe the cat wandered in from outside if Mary hadn't closed the door right, but the cat would just not go back outside at all. By now its cuteness was really wearing off, so we left the kitty in the hallway and went back inside. Mary came home not too long after that, and we looked in the hallway and the kitty was gone. So I guess Mary has two cats. It was really weird. Omgcatouttanowhere!!
So that was it pretty much... my New Year's Eve/birthday. Beer and a cat. I'm angered that there's no mail today. I want my Kiriyan book. Boo. I'm going to make dinner now.
