So yes, we're here in Greensboro, we have an apartment. Its more like a one floor townhouse than an apartment XD Its really nice. We have a crappy monitor for the computer too, and some leeched internet that only kinda works, but it'll do until we get ours set up.

That's all I'm going to write about for now, as I'm really really tired and about to fall over. *curls up with Seshileopard*

WE HAS APARTMENT!!

We has much better apartment than our initial one. :DDD Seriously, its an adorable place in a very nice neighborhood, and the management people are awesome. And coherent. I am so excited! Since I don't know what the internet situation will be like once we get there, I may be MIA for a little bit. Feel free to text me if you have the number. Hopefully there will be someone's wireless to leech off of until the Comcast guys get their asses out there and hook us up. Srsly, SO EXCITED.

Also, Komu has killed me again. I perhaps may never recover.

And tiring. But awesome nonetheless. Getting all my crap together to move was a lot more complicated than I thought it would be. I knew it was going to be a challenge getting all my stuff together in only 2 or 3 days, but it was really crazy. I wound up throwing out about 15 large garbage bags of things I don't need. And we still couldn't fit everything in my mom's car. Her Jeep's trunk's kinda tiny though. At least she's going back to get the rest of my stuff in about 2 weeks I think she said. Whatever, its not like I can take it all at once either.

This weekend was made of win and love. econn, mon_bouche and umai_tsuki arrived late Thursday night, and on Friday, along with sumire_no_hana, made a pilgrimage (after 3 hours of sleep) back to my native land of New York where we met up with kalen9. The weather was abysmal and I'm probably going to get sick because of it, but it was a great time. We went to Kinokuniya (I think I'm spelling that right, maybe?) and Book Off and another bookstore whose name is escaping me, and visited the huge ass public library and the biggest Build-a-bear store I've ever been to. I found the CUTEST stationery for Seshiletters with little snowflakes on it in pretty patterns and envelopes. I got her a postcard of Radio City Music Hall too. We picked Book Off clean, lol. I got one of Yuki's dinner shows, Valentine Kiss, for $5 :DDDD Happy Vicky is happy. At the last bookstore they had a magazine that had a few pictures from Kiss of the Spider Woman in it. Oh sweet god, if I had $15 to spend I so would have bought it just for the one picture. Komu is so gorgeous I can't even describe it. Damn them for not putting that show on DVD. I NEED the program. And any magazines that had it in it. God, so hot. So so so SO hot.

Aaannyhoos, after the bookstore we went to Build-a-bear and holy crap it was Build-a-bear heaven. I wish I had enough money to buy Noripony, but at least I got to hug one. She was so SO cute and soft. Definitely going to get that one eventually. Since it was the NY store, they had tons of NY sports team stuff. umai_tsuki bought Seshileopard an adorable pink Mets shirt! Gah, she looks so cute in it. Since I didn't bring Seshi to the apt, I put the shirt on Tombear, and she didn't seem very happy with me. The guy there also gave us a metric fuckton of ear bows, so I covered Tom in green bows too. If the bear was alive, I think she would have killed me. The shirt is on Seshi now though and she looks adorable. And very cuddly.

We got back to Philly at about 8, and I made oyakudonburi for everyone. It turned out pretty well despite my lack of cooking skills. The rest of the weekend was spent watching various shows. Mahoraba and Magician no Yuutsuu were very very good. Definitely need to get some copies. I've also acquired Yuu's Purple Shadow and Scout, which I will be watching in the near future. Probably not tonight since I'm SO exhausted. I might actually go to sleep at a normal hour tonight. Maybe? Maybe.

I'm watching the Super Bowl now. GO GIANTS!! They are doing better than I thought, despite losing at the half. We'll see what happens.

The weekend was awesome. I have some of the most awesome friends in the world and I'm going to miss them desperately of course. Don't worry guys, I'll be back to terrorize you sometime in the future :D

Since the plans are now finalized and my flight has been booked, I am now making the official announcement that I am moving to California! I'll be moving back in with fannore and ladybretagne :D Well, back in the other roommate's apartment, but we'll be getting a place of our own in the next few months. I am leaving really retardedly early in the morning on February 6th, so if anyone close enough wants to see me before I go, you know what to do.

In other business, I wanted to get Seshi something for a shinko pressie. Flowers are nice, but a little expensive for my broke ass right now, and they die anyways, LOL. I've been really into jewelry making since my mom got me some beading tools and supplies for Christmas, so I made her a bracelet! The opaque beads are a bit more green and jade-like, but the flash kinda washed them out. I hope she'll be excited to get a handmade gift from her gaijin. *giggles* Its in the mail, I just hope it doesn't get crushed or anything since the beads are glass. I stuck it in a bubble mailer so it should be okay. faux_semblant is also going to try to get club forms for me while she's in Japan. Heeee, I hope she gets them! I was watching Yuki Elisabeth last night for a Seshi fix, and seriously guys, I did not sign up for the hot baby ><

Alright, I guess I should go take a shower. I am a dirty dirty girl.
