Merry Christmas!!!

I have had an awesome day, despite it being the first Christmas away from my mom. She did really awesome in the present area. I got the new awesome ice blue DS that came with a fancy case and the Brain Age game. Its freaking gorgeous and more minty green than blue. Its amaaaazing. Also got Pokemon Pearl to go with that, so I can finally freaking play it. I've spent most of my day playing that and Sudoku on Brain Age. She also got me a nice set of makeup brushes, new eyeliners, lip gloss, mineral foundation and mini little nail polishes, an electric toothbrush and electric razor (Oh god, I'm an adult, I asked for these things XD) and a Harajuku Lovers watch. That she picked out herself. I seriously don't know how my mom has such good taste sometimes. There's another package coming with "something she made me", which I'm really hoping is the blanket she's been promising to crochet me since the summer. Hopefully it'll be here tomorrow. Also she's sending me a separate birthday package. I get separate birthday presents! :DDDD Yay!

ladybretagne and kinnosuikazura. A bunch of Bath and Body Works stuff, a really pretty ring and pin, comfy green slipper socks, a High School Musical ornament with candy in it (which Jenn totally put two together so it wound up being Vanessa and Ashley on it instead of Vanessa and Zac Efron XDDD), High School Musical pens that I totally already knew about XD, and Jenn got me a cell phone dangle that's a little resin teddy bear that has a Union Jack painted on it and a pin that says "I <3 NY" on it to replace the one I had before that I lost :D ... I think that was it. So much love for them, fer srs. <3333
My Yuletide story, was AMAZING. Kaorin and Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh. :DDDDD I'm too lazy to get the link to it right now, but I'll post it later.
My brother also emailed me about coming down here and taking me to dinner for my birthday. Weird.
I am SO EXCITED FOR THIS STUFF OMGS. I will own every chibi!Tom thing, I swear. Especially the phone dangle.
I go now, I have my traditional Christmas cold and its making me sleepy.

Omgs the Tom pic is AMAZING. I think I've decided I'm going to start collecting such things with Toms that look like that on it XD The blue eye shadow is AWESOME. Yesss.
And I now has my first ever stage photo of Seshi <333 I know, she's been my baby for almost a year and a half and this is the first one. That's really really sad, lol. But lacking monies will do that for a person I suppose. Either way, its a great shot and she is smexy. Very very smexy. I wish I had a scanner XD I may take a pic of it.
I would write more about the NSG shinko, but I am freaking exhausted. So for now, I will just say that Bonbon is adorable as Chigi and has epic hair. And white teeth. Gah, I love her so so much <3333

It was like the world knew I needed something today because waiting in the mailbox for me today was our stuff fromsumire_no_hana and Komu's dinner show from caithion by way of Lucia, which I totally didn't expect to get so soon. Manda, thank you for everything! Such an awesome array of stuff <3333 And my Kimus I've missed so much <333 And the Le Cinq and everything else... seriously thank you for everything. Your note was hilarious too XD I miss your randomness.
I am so hysterical right now with my mix of emotions. Watching Komu's dinner show (omg seriously Jen thank you so so so much) is probably a bad idea right now, but I'm not sure I care.

So I talked to my brother, and the only things he's trying to claim on his taxes are my flight, room/board and food, etc. which is what he actually "paid" me. He's not trying to claim he gave me income since of course he didn't. No matter how much I should have been getting income for working for him, he didn't give it, he's not claiming to. So that is all cleared up, I can stop being stressed out about it. Doesn't make my brother any less of a jerk for the whole debacle in general. Thank you everyone, for your hugs and advice. I really appreciate it!

Feb. 7th, 2008 03:29 pmSup everyone :DD I have arrived safely in California! After a damn long day of traveling (I was up at 430 am eastern time), I am here now and kinda jetlagging but doing well. I got my postcard and Seshi's fan club form from faux_semblant! (It was here a few days ago, but alas, I wasn't.) Thank you sooooo much, Elise! The picture of Seshi is ADORABLE omgs. *cuddles it tight* Seshi's fanclub form is incredibly simple, I just need to email them and ask them how they want to go about me paying them. Also, I now know where the damn name Seshiru came from and why she attempted to spell it "Secilu" in Kashi's narration thing for the Elisabeth shinko. Its supposed to be Cecil. Awesome weekend was awesome
Feb. 3rd, 2008 08:06 pmAnd tiring. But awesome nonetheless. Getting all my crap together to move was a lot more complicated than I thought it would be. I knew it was going to be a challenge getting all my stuff together in only 2 or 3 days, but it was really crazy. I wound up throwing out about 15 large garbage bags of things I don't need. And we still couldn't fit everything in my mom's car. Her Jeep's trunk's kinda tiny though. At least she's going back to get the rest of my stuff in about 2 weeks I think she said. Whatever, its not like I can take it all at once either.
This weekend was made of win and love.econn, mon_bouche and umai_tsuki arrived late Thursday night, and on Friday, along with sumire_no_hana, made a pilgrimage (after 3 hours of sleep) back to my native land of New York where we met up with kalen9. The weather was abysmal and I'm probably going to get sick because of it, but it was a great time. We went to Kinokuniya (I think I'm spelling that right, maybe?) and Book Off and another bookstore whose name is escaping me, and visited the huge ass public library and the biggest Build-a-bear store I've ever been to. I found the CUTEST stationery for Seshiletters with little snowflakes on it in pretty patterns and envelopes. I got her a postcard of Radio City Music Hall too. We picked Book Off clean, lol. I got one of Yuki's dinner shows, Valentine Kiss, for $5 :DDDD Happy Vicky is happy. At the last bookstore they had a magazine that had a few pictures from Kiss of the Spider Woman in it. Oh sweet god, if I had $15 to spend I so would have bought it just for the one picture. Komu is so gorgeous I can't even describe it. Damn them for not putting that show on DVD. I NEED the program. And any magazines that had it in it. God, so hot. So so so SO hot.
Aaannyhoos, after the bookstore we went to Build-a-bear and holy crap it was Build-a-bear heaven. I wish I had enough money to buy Noripony, but at least I got to hug one. She was so SO cute and soft. Definitely going to get that one eventually. Since it was the NY store, they had tons of NY sports team stuff.umai_tsuki bought Seshileopard an adorable pink Mets shirt! Gah, she looks so cute in it. Since I didn't bring Seshi to the apt, I put the shirt on Tombear, and she didn't seem very happy with me. The guy there also gave us a metric fuckton of ear bows, so I covered Tom in green bows too. If the bear was alive, I think she would have killed me. The shirt is on Seshi now though and she looks adorable. And very cuddly.
We got back to Philly at about 8, and I made oyakudonburi for everyone. It turned out pretty well despite my lack of cooking skills. The rest of the weekend was spent watching various shows. Mahoraba and Magician no Yuutsuu were very very good. Definitely need to get some copies. I've also acquired Yuu's Purple Shadow and Scout, which I will be watching in the near future. Probably not tonight since I'm SO exhausted. I might actually go to sleep at a normal hour tonight. Maybe? Maybe.
I'm watching the Super Bowl now. GO GIANTS!! They are doing better than I thought, despite losing at the half. We'll see what happens.
